Respect: Nothing will ruin a class than it being taught by an instructor who does not respect their students. The staff at Lakes Firearms will also conduct themselves in a manner which is complimentary to the skills and abilities of its students.

 

Competence: The instructors at Lakes Firearms come from diverse backgrounds. Our staff have served in the US military and for federal law enforcement agencies. They have served as instructors for years and maintain their certifications as such. This allows our staff to cover a variety of topics while maintaining their status as subject matter experts in the fields they are providing instruction in.

 

Lakes Firearms training provides various types of personal safety and specialized firearms training in both group and individual settings. Lakes was established to provide quality professional firearms handling and safety training at an affordable price.

 

Our basic level courses are designed to give you the knowledge and confidence needed to safely handle and shoot a firearm and help prevent you from becoming a crime statistic. Because of today’s hectic schedules and busy lifestyles, many people are not able to attend a pre-scheduled class. It is for this reason that we offer individual and small group training sessions where a Lakes Firearms instructor will work one-on-one with you or your group.

 

Our advanced level courses are designed to take the person who has basic firearms skills and take them to the next level in competency and capability.
